MASKED MAN FREESTYLE ON CANVAS..

WU TANG custom HOODIES vinyl.

 A few days ago I picked up 3 of these...Spankystokes helped identify him and educate me, he's from the Hoodiez vinyl set which was designed by the creator of The Boondocks, Carl Jones..
I like the shape of this little b-boy figure..I decided to paint my first one in greyscale and gave him the famous Wu Tang W on his chest..
He stands 12cm tall, and has just been added to my ebay store..with a crazy 99p starting price and ends in 7 days..

   This is the second of today's 3 customs...Painted with acrylics and some spray paint, I can't help but feel a bit sorry for him.. It wasn't me that upset him, I don't think..But maybe you can cheer him up? He is for sale from HERE for just £35.00 ..

COLD HEART - custom Trikky munny

After scoring some toys this weekend I couldn't wait to get some started.. I may have got carried away one night and almost didn't go to bed...I managed to get three finished...This is the first one of my latest customs.. Painted with acrylics, this is Cold Heart... I'm not too sure if your'e supposed to fear him or feel sorry for him..

  This is the wall I painted yesterday with Fluid.. After starting later than we had planned to, the whole thing probably took around 5 - 6 hours.. All freestyled and with one set of ladders between us..

Calvin "The Cutter" Klein figure 8 of the Dominant Species

  This is the eighth custom in the Dominant Species clan... Calvin "The Cutter" Klein is the guy who gains access to all those locked train yards..The chainsaw isn't there for violent reasons,he's an artist not a serial killer.. He mainly uses it to cut holes in fences, scribe walls and scratch out rival tags..

 The chainsaw was given to me by a friend, who walked past it on the floor in the street and thought Hoaks could use that..After doubling back and picking it up, he brought it to me and it was a near perfect fit..After some minor adapting this found object became building block to what became "The Cutter"..

 

Standing 16cm tall and with plenty of articulation, this figure can be displayed in a number of ways.. I will be adding this to my store later today..This post will be updated once I have.. Thanks for looking...

3 Fourths.. New addition to the Dominant Species figures..

   This is 3 Fourths..The latest member of the Dominant Species crew.He is lucky number 7, the seventh member dedicated to an art form starting with the seventh letter..And what does 3 + 4 make?

Like others before him, he was made by customizing an old wrestling figure that had seen better days.. He stands about 16cm tall with loads of possible ways to be displayed due to having articulation in his shoulders,elbows,wrists,knees and ankles..

Dominant Species figure 6 - The Medic

New crew member The Medic has been added to the Dominant Species gang.. Even though they feel no pain, and have limbs that grow back, they are prone to catching colds from late night painting in all weathers.. The medic is on stand by to unblock any bunged up nozzles or severed flow tubes..

 Made the same way as the rest, ( except for figure 5... "Leatherback" ) the Medic used  used to be a wrestling figure..After mutilating, burning and painting I turned him into the smartest of the crew who has a degree and everything..

More Gundam Graffiti Bombers!!

    There's 2 more to add to the crew... Slightly smaller and with less articulation than the one in my last post, but still standing around 20cm tall on their bases they are mounted to, are these beaten up future graff writers.. Made by following a construction kit with hundreds of bits, and a few Chinese instructions, then adapting and weathering it before painting..

   First up is the one with a massive gun, a shield and an evil looking set of battle damaged armour.Out of all of them so far, I'd say this one is the baddie..

  The second custom is this one with wings.He stands just shy of 20cm tall with the base, but has a huge wingspan to make up for it...

New Gundam Graff Bomber

  This is the newest addition to my Gundam Graff Bombers..Like the others before him, I assembled everything following detailed diagrams and Chinese instructions.There were literally hundreds of parts...After adapting and handpainting with a rusty look, I decided to make a war torn base to mount him on...
  Measuring 20cm tall from spike to toe, this figure can be posed in a number of ways due to having articulation in his shoulders,elbows,wrists,waist, ankles and knees.Whether blasting his cannon or just looking chilled with his weapon and shield at ease, this figure has plenty of options for display...

       I made the base out of a recycled blank CD tower, with other bits of twisted plastic and some rocks..

 This one off piece is signed on the back, and has just been added to my STORE for £79.99 plus postage..

I managed to drag myself out from workin today to go and drop a quick piece with Fluid... I'm not too keen on it, but with limited paint and on a sunny day like today, what else was I gonna do?

Dragons Custom Toy Show

    A few weeks back I was invited to take part in a custom toy show happening in Cardiff this August, hosted at The Sho Gallery...With proceeds raised going to the chosen charity DiabetesUk ..The man responsible for such a good thing is Andy Kelly @Zombiekel, and I was honoured to be invited in..

    The platform for the 36 chosen artists is the Kidrobot Kracka and, as it's going down in Wales, the theme fittingly set is Dragons...Click HERE to see the full line up...

   Andy's been doing a great job..He recently set up a DRAGONS TOY SHOW BLOG, which you should check out for more info and  progress shots of the dragons coming together..There's already some amazing customs being made, including the first finished one called Lambert  (below) by Rich Page of UME Toys..

Two more Dragons have been posted on the Dragons blog page.. Pictured below are customs by PJ Constable and Dr.Barbados..So far the finished 3 I've seen, and the progress shots of MAp MAp's and RunDMB's are all ridiculously good..Check them out for yourself !

This is PJ Constable's Dragon..Even if he wasn't 15 years old, this would still be a cool custom..Massive props!
Next up is Dr.Barbados's SMAUG with some amazing detail work, rocking a pair of shell toes..
