THE CAN SOLO SAGA CONTINUES..star wars spray can sculptures

Some of you may remember previous framed editions of  Can Solo that have been put out over the last 2 years..Well, new to the store today are these spray can versions of Can Solo, who was captured for crimes of vandalism and imprisoned to stay up forever. 

Kitbashed / sculpted onto empty spray cans before painting, these 20cm tall models are one of  kind pieces that give a nod to that well known scene from that science fiction thing we alll love called Star Wars..

Each can has been burst open and depressurized making them acceptable to post overseas..This also allows the wire to be fed through the hole (which is detachable for postage reasons) and tucked under his nozzle face easily, with as little or as much slack as you'd like..

GOOD BYE 2016. FIRST POST OF THE YEAR

One of my resolutions this year is to spend more time doing the stuff I don't really like, such as writing about myself (blogging), self promoting everything I get up to and all admin stuff I try not to do..So with that being said here's some brief ramblings about my year..

Looking back 2016 was a good year and lots of fun , productive stuff went down.. Some of the years highlights  was the short video EBAY made about my work..The BRUMSPIRIT " We're In This Together" wall painted with Beirut twins ASHEKMAN and local legend ZUKI. A secret project I can't share with you until 2018! Painting at Break Mission hip hop festival with some legends and meeting my favorite rapper CHESTER P.. 

During the year I also put out a small army of custom toys and resins,most of which are now sat around the world on peoples shelves, as well as the hundreds of cans I recycled and painted.. Canvases are hanging in places I've never been and my studio walls are currently bare... A huge thanks for everybody's custom, support and help last year, I'm hoping to do more, bigger better things with this one.. 

Anyway, Happy New Year if you are reading this!! Here's my last wall of the year.. Freestyled in the cold on paint that didn't dry on the eve of new years eve.

STAR WARS GRAFFITI ..STYLE WARS PRINT SET

STYLE WARS SKREENFACE RESIN..THE FORCE AWAKENS

The third version of my resin cast creation "SkreenFace" is now available from the store...and it's this guy!Cast in four parts with magnets embedded inside giving articulation to his head and arms.This is a one of a kind custom with Dark Side material cape..With "The Force Awakens" on his top and his trusty LightSprayber, this guy's out to rule the galaxy.. Standing 6 inches tall with a variety of poses, this is a one of a kind custom available from the store now..

NUB NUBS GRIZZLEWOKS STAR WARS FLAVOR GRIZZLECHOPS EWOKS

Nub Nubs! Standing a cute 3inches tall with shiny glossed eyes, Grizzlewoks are custom painted GrizzleChops pretending to be Ewoks..With little fabric hoods, each one has been hand painted in a different way so each piece is unique..

VADERFACE DARK SIDE STAR WARS CUSTOM

From the meanest hood in the galaxy equipped with a self made light saber shank in his pocket,this little 2.5 inch VaderFace is a solid resin figure with a material cape.. No two pieces are the same as they have no articulation, the heads are positioned and attached differently on each piece..Limited to just 10 pieces, each one painted with acrylics,they have glossed helmets that catch the light while his eyes and details are a flat grey..

Each piece comes bagged with an art header and there are a few still available from my store!!A unique gift for any star wars fan, or to keep your VandalFace company on the shelf... 

CAN SOLO TOY PART GRAFFITI SCULPTURES

  Busted for trying to king the galaxy, Can Solo looks like he's going to stay up forever after all!.. Just not how he intended..

  Part sculpture, part toy parts, these framed pieces are all unique one of a kind mash ups and are hand painted with acrylics, sealed with lacquer, before mounting in chunky wooden frames..

  Originally intended to have a different paint job, (which I may still try out at some point) it was only when I undercoated the first one in black that the idea of Can Solo came to me. So far there have been 5 released and some of these have already been snapped up, check the store to see which ones are still available at hoakser.bigcartel.com.. Thanks to those who have already picked one up..

ANDROID CUSTOM - R2D2 STAR WARS

One of the latest customs to reach my store this week is this R2D2 Android custom. Battle damaged and given a rusty paint job, this was made by joining two bits of toy together with some minor sculpting and melting.. This piece is now in my STORE for £40.00 plus postage..
